Paxos island constitutes a truly idyllic destination located 12km off the coast of Corfu that can be reached quickly by ferry or hydrofoil. Travelers head over here in order to explore the secluded pebbly beaches and the interior, covered with olive groves and lush greenery.

The capital of Gaios is the busiest part of the island, offering great opportunities for experiencing the Greek culture. On the northern side is situated the region of Lakka and on the east side the very charming village of Loggos.

Moreover, there is a beach for every day on Paxos, while most of them are well-organized, providing visitors with a lot of amenities. Some parts of the island can though be accessed only by boat, so be the first to explore a new, hidden part of Paxos coasts.

Getting to Paxos

Paxos has no airport, it can though be reached quickly by ferry boat or hydrofoil and thus remains an unspoiled area, that has not been affected by mass tourism.

Ilida hydrofoil (flying dolphin) is a passenger boat, connecting Paxos and Corfu.
The journey time is about 55 minutes.
